Sivan Weizman is a spokesperson for the Israeli prison Service and described the condition of the prisoners as reasonable...... whatever that means. Palestinian officials have said that lives were in danger, and urged the international community to intervene. All the strikers are administrative detainees, and have refused food for nearly five weeks to protest against their being held without trial.
