Sky Sox military appreciation now a doubleheader - Due to a suspension of Wednesday’s game by inclement weather, the Fort Carson appreciation night game will now be a doubleheader, if weather permits. Tickets for today’s game are good for both games. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and ticketholders can watch either game or both games. Game one is a conclusion of the game suspended by rain Wednesday. It will resume in the top of the third inning with one out and a runner on first and the Sky Sox leading, 2-0. Game two will begin about 40 minutes after Game one ends and will also last 7 innings. Between these games the special Fort Carson appreciation events take place: honorary first pitch, national anthem and Mounted Color Guard.
