Snow squall warning for: Bruce Peninsula - Sauble Beach - Tobermory port Carling - port Severn Town of Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park Bayfield Inlet - dunchurch Snow squalls are occurring. Under the snow squall bands, visibilities will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate. Heavy snow squalls across Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will continue tonight and on Thursday. Reduced visibilities to near zero are possible in the heaviest squalls. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 centimetres per 12 hours can be expected in the areas where the snow squalls persist. Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably, changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing Road conditions. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Snow squall warnings are issued when bands of snow form that produce intense accumulating snow or near zero visibilities.
