PETER MUTHARIKA FIRES TEVETA DIRECTOR OF FINANCE (DOF) FOR FAILING TO APPROVE MILLIONS OF KWACHA. After revelation from National Aids Commission (NAC)that the DPP regime has been drawing bubious money from the parastatal named as NACGATE now they have changed the system. Some weeks ago,Peter Mutharika summoned the newly hand picked TEVETA boss Ndione Chauluka in which they agreed a deal to siphone millions of kwacha from the parastatal through the community colleges code to assist in the party operation and other personal activity of the president,present on the meeting was Presidents personal Aide Ben Phiri,Chief of Staff,Peter Mukhito,TEVETA Director Ndione Chaulaka and the president himself. Chaulaka through other accounts staff quickly made arrangements to withdraw money, unfortunately the director of finance (name withheld) refused to approve the transaction,he challenged that, I cant approve a dubious transaction,it is against my profession,actually these are levy money from companies meant to assist TEVETA to train students in tertiary education,approving this will mean Im party and parcel of those people who doesnt wish this country well This didnt go well with the TEVETA Boss (Chauluka)who later reported to the President and Peter Mutharika has vowed never to extend his contract (DOF) which is ending February. Currently,the president has instructed the TEVETA boss to advertise the post of Director of Finance and a possible replacement,a party loyalist has already been identified to take up the post to make their dubious transaction easy. This is not new,the former TEVETA boss Mr Yusuf Alide was frustrated in the same way despite been a great performer who took TEVETA to certain level of success,but his contract was never extended thus the coming in of Chauluka. Our source within the state house close to the Prsident will keep us updated and we shall equally keep you updated,we have the three names suggested to take up the DOF at TEVETA.
