So Charlie, the Australian shepherd has not been feeling good all weekend. (Thanks Stacey Thomas Rester). I got the bright idea to take him out in the front yard on a leash. Thought it would perk him up. Forgot the chickens were still out there. Charlie takes off hauling me on the leash. I know I cant let go because 1) he is deaf and I cant call him back and 2) he will kill a chicken. I finally fell. Quit laughing. It hurt like hell. I laid there in the wet grass for a few minutes just moaning and thinking how am I going to go to work and do payroll tomorrow with a broken arm. I finally manage to get up and make it inside. Debated whether to go to immediate care but I didnt want to miss the Cowboy game. I have a nice muscle relaxer calling my name and a heating pad.
