So, Daisy being a Boston Terrier, shes always had coughs, reverse sneezing, and just funny breathing techniques. This started about 2 months ago and has progressively gotten worse. Vet checked, no heart worms and crystal clear lungs. He figured it is postnatal drip and she now takes benadryl twice a day. The benadryl seems to keep it under control most of the time, but when this does happen, it lasts for 20-30 minutes where shell sit like this, not moving, and hacking over and over until shes just obviously miserable. All through the night, hacking and wheezing. And this mommy here isnt sleeping. Ive even dreamed of waking up and finding shed passed away during the night. Daisy is one of my three baby girls. Surely, one of you guys on my friends list is familiar with this, and even if it is just post nasal drip, what can be used in addition to the benadryl to just ease the hacking and get her comfortable???
