So I am heading up Wanneroo Road (North) 4pm in the right lane, perfect weather, no other vehicles around me, highly visible and doing the speed limit, and get just past Cape Street Traffic Lights and I see a white work van (ladders on roof rack but no markings) pull out of the shops into the left lane so I slowdown and watch him, he seems to have settled into the lane so I keep going with caution, just as I am getting level with him he decides he wants my lane, No signal, No looking, Straight over! so I brake, swerve and beep my horn at the same time, but he keeps coming across and then takes the right turning up past the car wash. I like most have close calls from time to time when riding, But that was VERY close. No wonder motorcycle deaths are on the increase!
