So I am home and have decided to share something personal. I had to have surgery this week and was blessed to have had a successful operation. I had been having issues and they were complicated and worsened as I was working out in the summer. I was diagnosed with two masses on my thyroid. I decided to keep this private until I knew for sure what was going on. Also many of you know that my oldest brother was hospitalized last week so I knew that my family was dealing with enough stress. Well the procedure was rough and I lost 3/4 of my thyroid with one of the masses being the size of a golf ball but they turned out to be benign. So while I am still having trouble talking with the swelling, I will be able to return to school with a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. I know FB is a place where many people ask for prayers but I refuse to ask my Lord for his loving embrace and then fail to thank him for taking me in his arms and bringing me through this storm. Thank you Lord!!!!!!
