So, I guess its really over. The Disney College Program is something that I wanted for what seems like forever, the second i heard of it I knew that it would be my initial goal that would get me closer to achieving further aspirations of mine within the Walt Disney company. This internship provided me with experiences I can guarantee no other internship could have ever compared to; it has truely been an adventure that has connected me not only with many networks but with some of my best friends. I have made countless memories- at tapings (Ellen I love you), aulani, through backstage experiences and tours, concerts, universal trips with my minions, playing in the parks of course and much more. Thank you to the programs team (Phil, Katy, Beeta, Brandon and Kelly) who made so many of these experience possible. I owe a huge thank you to everyone who visited me and kept in touch, it really means so much to me. Thank you to my aunt for always being there for me when I need you and allowing me to stay with you at times. Thank you to my coworkers for being so welcoming since the first day and making work magical. Thank you Claudia for teaching me so much within the most exciting/ fun filled courses I have ever taken (blended learning & leadership speaker series), and to the speakers who visited to provide a deeper understanding into different realms of the company. Jacob Dornan and Danica Nesbit, Im so happy you were able to join us in 319, Ive had so much fun with you guys and cant wait to see you guys again. Sarah Han I know you left earlier but I think its still necessary that you know I love you. Raaaaaecccheelll (Rachel Orozco)😉, thank you for always putting up with me, in particular turning off my light to avoid lava and monsters and handling my rather scary pranks pretty well. In all seriousness though, Im so lucky to have found you, youve become one of my best friends and I dont know how Im going to live without you (Ill definatly be visiting you in chicaaaaago, and I better see you in oregon). I love you soo soo much! Cassie Nano, dont cry. I know your about to. I have gotten so close to you over the past 7 months, not just literally speaking in the sense that youve been sleeping 5 feet away from me, but in the sense that youve become something like a sister to me. Your always there when I need you; your one of the most thoughtful, genuine, fun, full of life people I have ever met; and I really hate that we cant spontaneously go to the beach or what not whenever we please together (until you or I visit...). Youve always been down for adventures, have understood my since of humor and have been my ride or die since day 1. Youve made me a better person and have given me memories to last a life time. This program would not have been the same without you. Its safe to say your one of my very best friends. Then theres this one guy, that understood and supported this dream of mine even though the distance seperated us for long periods of time. Alex King has stuck by my side and supported me beyond my wildest expectations. Without him I would not have made it to the end, thank you Alex for all those little blue notes that kept me going, calling me every day and for visiting me just about once a month. I love you to infinity and beyond; thank you. I will always be grateful to have been accepted into this program/ adventure and for all of those who have changed my life. But in life every story has an ending and every ending has a new begining; so, I guess its time to continue on to my next dream. Ive found my why and like Jon Storbeck advised Ill continue towards my goals and enjoy the climb there.
