So I had my first motorbike accident this afternoon. Some lady pulled into my lane without indicating, and I swerved while slamming on the breaks (bad move) and totally went flying. My shoe flew off, my well-working helmet skidded along the ground (with my head in it), but all I got was momentary seeing starts, a pissy grazed knee and a bruised ankle! Not all that tough. But I did manage to go to derby training and scrimmage anyway! Slightly tough? Definitely HEAPS lucky...
