So I had my follow up appointment with the doc today to discuss my blood work that I had done right before I went to Mexico. The Nurse tells me my blood sugar is elevated quite a bit since my last blood test. Im kind of upset because I have been doing everything Im supposed to Ive lost weight, Im exercising, Im trying to eat right. Im thinking Damn what am I doing wrong. The doc comes in and says your blood sugar looks good. Im going no it doesnt, under 7 is what I want and this says its 11.3 he looks at the sheet the nurse gave me and says thats from a year ago when we first discovered the diabetes. The new number is 6.7 which is right where they want me. Wow talk about a mood swing. So all is well in my bloodstream.
