So, I have Nevada at after hours doctor for reasons totally unrelated to her black eye.... As soon as we get here she makes a miraculous recovery, and while Im busy sorting the paperwork she takes the opportunity to bound into the waiting room and proceeds to run and jump along the rows of seats. I see her doing this out of the corner of my eye, so walk over to quietly tell her to sit down and behave. However, when she sees me coming she loudly proclaims dont smack me, I promise Ill be good!. Now Im convinced everyone in the waiting room thinks I gave her the shiner in a routine beating, and I swear the old lady opposite me is glaring at me disapprovingly....
