So I shared several research studies and articles tonight regarding lawn pesticides linked to a high rate of cancer such as lymphoma in dogs. Cancer in dogs is very similar to cancer in people. So Google lawn pesticides and childhood cancer... Think that in the last 20 years how people have been so concerned with lawns and competing with neighbors for great lawns -- and that childhood cancers have dramatically increased in the last 20 years... Then think do I want a beautiful, pest-free lawn, or do I want my child cancer free? Does that help with perspective?? If your family dog is running through the pesticides then so are you and your children. I dont know what more to say. Theres a link, and its high (70% of lymphoma in dogs is related to lawn pesticides). My personal link?? We had a cherished wolf dog die of lymphoma approximately 3 years after we put pesticides on our lawn -- and a lab mix (my baby) die of blood cancer approximately 6 yrs later. Coincidence?? I dont think so. No way. So leave the lawns be... Let them grow according to Creators plan. If theyre brown, theyre brown. But your animals and children are safe. :)
