So I thought I should update some folks on how my Father Randolph Phelps is doing, since he startled some folks with his last weekends Post. Week has been pretty crazy, what we thought he was going to be admitted for last Monday was for malnourishment do to his narrow esophagus. Only to find out that he was believed to have aspirated into his lungs which caused fluid on his lungs. He was unaware at the time last week that he had a left collapsed lung. The wonderful staff in the ER, the team of surgeons, as well as the 2nd floor PCUI nurse @ Memorial, have gone above and beyond to help him get healthy again and keep him stay comfortable though the week. He is still there and hopes to be home by this coming week fallowing nutrients, antibiotics, rest and one more procedure is successful
