So I was telling my daughters about time capsules and was retelling how on the day that a time capsule was buried at McGee Elementary, they told everyone it was Dress Up Day. I thought they meant dress up weird and my mom even called the school to verify and Im pretty sure they said Yes!. Well, as luck would have it, it was supposed to be dress up nice, like shirts and ties, nice dresses, etc. So, me, not quite understanding the premise, I wore bleached jeans (that looked like I had been attacked by seagulls), a white blouse and a blue vest (I borrowed from my sisters closet), and spiked my hair in a Mohawk and wrapped each spike with tin foil. I thought it would be fun to see if they ever opened the time capsule so I googled it found this great local news segment that someone posted on Youtube. Its really poor quality, probably transferred from an old VHS tape, but around 1:21, theres a kid on the far left corner of the screen waving at the camera. Yep, thats me. Tin foil and all!!! youtube/watch?v=FQ3L_Em2McI
