So, I went to a charity bingo event last night. & I had a really great time. Im sure half of it was the company I was with, but believe it or not playing bingo was kinda neat while having a cocktail. It was at a VFW and from what I understand the charity made a nice little chunk of money. It was a very simple event ...people brought their own snacks.. cheese..desserts ..fruit etc and snuck in their own bottles. There was also a kitchen provided some basic hamburgers and french fries type stuff, but the prizes were really nice.. they focused on Dooney and Bourke handbags stuffed with other products. Im thinking about possibly doing something similar for relove. We were hoping to do a nicer event in the fall.. but this may be something we could do in the meantime. they also had 50/ 50 raffle, bucket raffle door prizes and a million other things you could win. Of course afterwards we went into the bar and were buying complete rounds of drinks for like 12 bucks. You just cant beat that... If it wasnt for the old lady next to me who stole my tickets it would have been a flawless evening. Cant win em all!
