So Im away at the cape this week (in wellfleet) and as I was walking my two dogs I passed this storage facility/house and I heard squaking. So being a bird owner/conure owner myself I thought hmm that sounds like a bird in distress. I walk up to the window of the storage place and see a small Long cage with no toys or perches and two conures. One is obviously a sun conure and the other I couldnt tell. He is green with a red head. And I couldnt tell if they had any food or water. There are no fans or AC in this place and there was no people around so I didnt know what to do. The door was open but I didnt want to tress pass of course so I didnt go in. Im asking some of the people who live near where we are staying if they know who owns these birds or if they know anything about them. Right now I just want to go grab them, take them to the vet and Rehome them but thats illegal lol. Their cage is rusted and is disgusting. I really cant do anything until I find out who is the owner and whats the story behind these parrots. Anyone have any ideas of what else I could do? Its just so frustrating seeing these poor birds in this kind of a situation.
