So Im pretty excited right now. I installed a plex server to serve our media to my Roku. This frees up my Pi so that I can start figuring out how to run my Halloween display from it. Susans new job uses mobile phones instead of pagers, but does not get T-mobile service inside the building. This means that I got to upgrade my Note 2 to a Note 3 and can now get rid of my universal remotes since it has a built in IR transmitter and I can control my Roku through an app. We had to go with AT&T for service (a little sad because I actually liked T-Mobile) and they are running a special right now. The special is that you get a Galaxy Tab 3 for free with certain phones and the Note 3 is on the list. So now I get a new (small) tablet along with all this other goodness. Since it is Susan who had to make the phone change, Im attributing all this tech goodness to karma rewarding her for her job and health struggles over the past year. I have no problems riding Susans karma coat tails for new equipment. Thanks Susan! Even without the new presents, I love you.....but the tech is really nice.
