So Ive been thinking long and hard about how I can continue to pursue my passions & do what I love as a career, visual art, and still give back to the world & humanity beyond just creating. Sometimes Ive felt hopeless with the financial situation Im in, struggling to pay bills like most people nowadays, and seeing so much pain in the world at the same time. Id like to offer a monthly opportunity for us all to give back and help others, not just humans, but the whole planet. Every month I will be taking 20% of my sales on canvas prints and donating it to a different humane and special charity. Anytime you buy a canvas print, know that you will be collectively helping someone else in need. For August, Id like to start with the SEVA FOUNDATION. Because I am a visual artist, sight and vision is such an important part of what I do. Seva works to prevent blindness and restore eyesight in 20 countries around the world. In the past year alone, Seva has provided eye care to over 1 million people. Since 1978, they have been a leading innovator in the delivery of vital eye care services to the most vital including women, children, and indigenous peoples. The Seva Foundation partners worldwide to create self-sustaining programs that preserve and restore sight. Both my grandparents on my moms side of the family have had issues with eyesight, my grandfather being partially colorblind and grandmother having glaucoma. So this charity specifically has a spot in my heart. I feel very passionate about taking this opportunity to help others with YOU! You have the chance to get artwork to hang on your wall, provide for me to continue creating artwork, and we can collectively help lots of different charities around the world!
