So Kelly Cloud and drop off Candy Rivera at West Moore High School to connect with the locals and then move on to whatever else is out there. We joke with Candy tell her we are dropping her off at school. We make sure she has her drink and snacks and even a backpack with supplies. They grow up so fast. I talked today with a couple who come from a very small church (About 20) in Ohio who have come to volunteer. I spent a few hours in the parking lot just sharing testimony and the word concerning the power of God through His people. They are not victims here but we cannot become so mission minded we forget to love on each other. They had some great experiences this afternoon and just in time. They felt like they were not accomplishing much but then it came. "One interaction made the whole trip more than worth it," was their exact words. This is their first mission and they have learned that you receive very much out of giving. Joy comes in the morning....God is good.
