So, Let me get this straight.. The Feds shutdown and send non-essential personnel home, due to lack of funding (No Budget or Continuing Resolution). A Couple days later, Congress agrees to pay said workers for their time off, but does not make them come to work. Great, so now we have given Fed workers another few days to their vacation time. However, many of the Furloughed workers have claimed Unemployment and will collect another check from States. Because UE money is state funds, it will be up to States to collect and take back any UE money sent to furloughed workers. Once again costing tax payers more money because those in Washington are apparently useless and feel the need to grandstand instead of negotiate. All while our Open Air parks and facilities were closed, by paying OT to Fed Law Enforcement agencies to close areas which should not be closed. foxnews/politics/2013/10/18/furloughed-government-workers-could-be-paid-twice-in-oregon/
