So, MASSIVE multi-family garage sale at my place this weekend. As in me, Cts. Margaret Dewey Tank Branwen, possibly some Emera Fae, some Larry M. Brow Sir Lars and Carla Tilghman Mistress Diachba, and even my neighbors are pushing huge pieces of furniture into my garage. Medical stuff - like ALL the neoprene braces you could ever need for knees of all sizes, wrists, ankles, elbows, ace wraps..... Luggage. Bags. Boxes. Homeowner stuff. Yard owner stuff. Grown up clothes. Books. Household stuff. Decent furniture. Home health care stuff. Car stuff. Pet stuff. Shoes. Boots. Bags. Pretty much everything except kid stuff, as far as I can tell. This stuff MUST GO. Address: 18527 S. Cherry Ct., Gardner, KS. Saturday and Sunday 8 until 2, or until the last person with money and a yearning to buy stuff leaves. I am finally getting to move back to Lawrence SCA - Shire of Carlsby General and am determined to going back to a lifestyle of traveling light. I also have a gi-nor-mous back yard, with no behind-me neighbors. If you are SCA and want to bring sticks and armor), come on by. Hit each other with sticks. I have woods and a field. Have a woods battle. Have a field battle. Run around like crazy people and make it a Gardner KS informal demo. *I DONT MIND* especially if it brings people by and they BUY STUFF. I have a grill and such for sale - use it till someone buys it to make food things happen. I might even let people use the indoor facilities! Branwen is posting pix of some of her spiffy stuff (like, um, sewing machines, and fur collars and stuff) on her page, plus on Craigs list. It will be a miracle if I get all my stuff tagged and just down to the garage. But it will be there. WE CAN TAKE CREDIT CARDS! WE SPEAK HAGGLE! WE TAKE PAYPAL! WE TAKE CASH! DANG! Such terms! Take your best route to the southern-most Gardner exit (exit 207 off I-35) - that is Gardner Rd. Head north towards Gardner-proper off the exit, turn right at 186th St (its the first real residential street youll come too - subdivision is Aspen Creek). Go ALL the way to the end of 186th Street. If you hit the guard rail at the end of the street, you went too far. The last street on the left is Cherry Court. Turn there. I am in the first HALF of the SECOND duplex on the right, AKA 18527 S. Cherry Ct. It will be the one with all the stuff out front, including Branwen and Taros shade fly. There will be signs at 186th/Gardner Rd. and at the corner of 186th/Cherry Ct. Probably elsewhere, too. So come, haggle, shop, hang out and chat a bit (bring your own chair for that part). Love to see ya. Tell your friends to come shop, buy our stuff and take it home!
