So... The ministry building was three months behind, and after receiving multiple letters I knew it was an issue that needed to be addressed quickly. I didnt know what to do so I prayed to God and called my landlord. I meant to say, can I pay my balance out over time, but what had come out by the end was Ill have the rent paid by the end of the month. *PAUSE* Rent on the ministry building is $650 a month, by the grace of God I was only charged an additional $100 in late fees, so my total owed was $2010.00. Its ok. Its fine, I thought, I start a new job at the Methodist childrens home and that with the $600 I will receive for doing the rest of the units in Hubbard (I was working an odd job as a painter to generate extra money) would be right at what I needed. Next day I go out to Hubbard and find out one unit is not necessary and another needs parts that cant be easily provided. *DOOR SLAMS SHUT* I finished orientation at Methodist Childrens Home & dont receive another call to start work. *ANOTHER DOOR SLAMS SHUT* ...I didnt know what to do. Just then a friend of mine hips me to another painting gig that would bring in 650 bucks. Without praying to seek Gods will I jump on it thinking to myself, this will work. Just to make sure I was getting the picture that this was not Gods will (which I eventually did) God sends a painter a head of me to do 3 of the 5 units reducing the profit potential to 250. Stubborn and bullheaded to make this work and unwilling to go back on my word, i forego sleep for about a week in order to squeeze painting 3 bedroom town homes into my already busy schedule. At the end of it all Im weary and still no closer to the 2010 mark. I go to the building, dejected and lost. Finally, i do what i shouldve dine from the very beginning, I put the situation in Gods hands and left it there. I said God, this is your ministry, you lead me into all of this and I believe you to handle this situation in accordance with your will whatever the outcome may be. He gets me up and walks me around the dividing wall and I see the drop ceiling tiles. Then the vision comes. Sell it. I thought, no way, itll take a month to even have somebody to look at it and respond and then i have to worry about them being an axe murderer. But in obedience I do it anyway. 2 hours after the post receive an email from an Asian gentleman in Austin. He said he is interested in purchasing the drop ceiling and he will come as soon as tomorrow to get it. *CUE PRAISE BREAK* The guy comes and he shares with me and another brother (who shows up right on time is Im loading 60 cases drop ceiling tile that weighs about 40 pounds each) that he was in a terrible accident at 70 miles an hour and can hardly move. After showing the pictures from the accident, I am convinced that it is a blessing he is alive. I help him load his trailer and realize he cant fit all 60 cases on to it. So I offer him the use of the ministry van. We make it to Austin and for every case I unload, he fills the van with something ministry needs. So much so, that I have to return to austin next week to receive everything. We are opening a food pantry. He gave us a nice shelf. We have at the store. He gave us a nice display. We want to have a community center. He is donating 7 washers and dryers. We need chairs he is donating 10. On top of all that guess how much he wrote a check for? Finally he put us in contact with a man that will drastically reduce the lighting cost for the ministry. SO... Not only will the rent be paid in full; not only do we have a shelf to put the food on; not only did we receive enough washers and dryers to run the community center; we are also going to have beautiful lights donated and sold to the ministry for an extremely cheap price. God is awesome. That is all
