So a few years ago a lot of us promoters would meet at events like R16, Bc One, BOTY and others and always tried to figure out a way for us to work together. We came with the concept for Undisputed in 2012 and contrary to a not to popular belief we came up with the name in early 2013 if my memory serves me correctly(I wont name any names but Im sure the info leaked before we released the info). We didnt want to announce it til we all locked everything in. I had to add a 1 vs 1 battle to my line up just to be down. We all put up the money to pay for the event we had no sponsors and did this purely to unite the scene and give folks a year ending BANG. I know some folks think were trying to control shit or whatever the hell other conspiracy theory folks come up with but really we just love the scene and wanted to work together. So we came up with Undisputed. Wish I was able to go myself but wasnt able to. But this video right here summed up the work of 8 entities together as one. Its the beginning of something special. Big ups to Silverback/UDEF for setting off the US scene and backing Freestyle Session and the Pro Breaking Tour and the other promoters in the Undisputed team that brought this to life. Also big ups to all the folks that donated there time to cover the event(Stance and ProDance TV) Really excited to see how 2015 and beyond go.
