So after CS/IT stuff here comes something for the Circuital - TopicsExpress

So after CS/IT stuff here comes something for the Circuital Branches . In case you are wondering what Circuital means it collectively addresses to Electrical Engineering, Electronics And Communication Engg, Instrumentation Engg and the derivatives of these branches ! There might be n categories of people who have opted for this branch..I am enlisting a few here- 1. Who are genuinely interested in studying the core stuffs and have chosen the branch purely out of interest ! 2. Who wanted a branch X (like CSE) but missed out by a margin of few ranks. 3. Those not inclined to programming stuffs and fell pray to stuffs like ECE/EE has very much scope or You have ample opportunities for good placement. or Market Boom sort of stuffs !! For people of type -1: The ball is in your court. All you need to do is convert your interest into passion. Dont let college resources stop you. There are ample opportunities if you want to learn. Particularly ECE/EE people - you cannot blame that labs are not well furnished etc ..there are plenty of simulators available for free (Proteus ISIS, MultiSim, TINA, PSpice etc) and simultaneously institutes like IITs provide an online VIRTUAL Laboratory where you can simulate your experiments ..doCircuits is another useful utility ! I mean just study basics thoroughly and youll link and learn stuffs in coming years like a cakewalk -- but yes the clause is that basics should be strong else you will slowly start regretting your decisions ! Remember for people preparing strictly for core sector..you should have your C Programming and Data Structures clear. (Required for preliminary round of many CORE GIANTS). You can anyways go upon suggestions mentioned in for type-2. Type 2:- Now that you have landed into this branch and you cannot simply rely on branch sliding..all you need to decide is whether to go for -- Software Sector or Core Sector (There is always a consultancy sector which I am not taking into account over here !!!) Remember that it is disadvantage that software companies allow ECE people for campus placements along with CSE/IT .You need to have a marked distinction in your mind whether you are to appear for core or software ... you can never travel on two boats simultaneously !! Comparatively, a larger chunk of batch gets placed in software/consultancy ! If you develop interest in core sector have a look at type-1. Type 3 and others:- You have fallen into a rattrap ! You need to go along with the suggestions as given for type 1 or type 2.There is no third way out and believe me you surely will make your way out .!! I have seen people doing that and achieving great success ! P.S.: I could write another post but yes only if I get feedback on this one. You could tell us what should the next post be directed towards ! Queries are welcomed !
