So after an especially bad workday, I came home to find my answering machine full from the same message...supposedly from the IRS. When I returned the call, I spoke with a particularly unpleasant fellow who informed me that I was guilty of many crimes including tax evasion and theft by deception. At first I was pretty shaken up but as the conversation went on, I began to suspect that it was some type of scam. This man then threatened to freeze all of my accounts, put a lien on my property, contact my employer to garnish my wages, and ended by stating that a warrant had been issued for my arrest and that an officer would be picking me up in a half an hour to start my 11 year prison sentence. I said, okay and hung up. I stopped at Kellys to inform her that I was on the lam and she told me that they had called her mom as well. That set my mind at ease and I headed to my Dads to pick up Mikey. I relayed the story and warned him and mom that they could he aiding and abetting a known felon. Dad just got out Mikeys old toy cop car and started playing the sirens to get me used to the sound. Mikey chimed in, mom, if the cops are at you house, just drive by and drop me off at Angelas! Thanks Buddy lol. When I got home there was another message on my phone...my dad playing the siren sounds for me again. Sigh. Kelly also messaged me to see if I was in jail yet. I then filled Pat in and to boost my spirits, he and Mikey put the doll on my spot on the couch when I went to the bathroom. They are all a great comfort lol :)
