So after the week Ive had what with becoming the worlds first 12m hotel swimming champ as per HINA rules ( Hotel Internacional Natacion Association ) and bringing such joy to all my DYST friends across the globe it was with a heavy heart that I went to my local pool to swim some boring 25m laps. When as I entered the changing rooms I see the following poster asking if I can swim 1800 lengths of a 25m. God damn it and there i was thinking Id done enough record breaking for one month and could sit back and take it easy but no I now have to only go and swim 45km. So from 48 and 96m to 45000m, thats some way to welcome back their first ever 12m world champ! Those who know me know Im a sprint demon thats why 12m suited me perfectly. Im going to need lots of tips from all you long distance warriors so fire them out - this is going to be one for the DYST record books. Id normally finish with happy swimming all but I may have to hold that thought until then :)
