So, apparently there was a time change recently. I am guessing this past weekend. This is the second year in a row that I have had Ivan trapsing around La Paz an hour early for Fosters Passport appointments... So last year, we show up for our appointment an hour early and the security guard said something like, No soup for you. Come back in one hour. And that is how we realized that there was a time change...so we went out for breakfast. This year they allowed us to show up early (the appointment roster and office reflected a less busy day) and begin the appointment process. It was midway through our appointment that we (and by we I really mean Ivan) realized the actual time was an hour earlier than we believed it to be. Excellent. We just gained an hour. Lucky us. I probably ought to tell the whole story and credit Ivan for his inquisitive nature. He had asked me the time when we (and by we I am referring to Foster and me) got up to begin this day, and I looked at my watch and told him. We headed downstairs and about ten minutes later Ivan hollars at me asking, Are you sure its 7:15? To which I reply (because now its ten minutes later), 7:30. I had a suspicion he was on the computer because I had noticed the night before that the computer was an hour behind, but just assumed that it was on Cupertino time, or something silly like that. And so we had a conversation that went something like that: the computer was on a different time zone somehow. So we hustled on our way to get the things done we needed to do prior to our appointment, only to repeat history. What a bunch of dorks...
