So as i sat in the Airport lounge sipping on Pina Colada waiting for my next flight, I got a call on my cell phone: Zain: Hello who is this Caller: Hi, quietly its late night here, i just wanted to see if you had a minute Z: Yes and no, I have a flight to catch C: I dont have too much time sir please , you see I am hiding under the bed Z: Who is this, I dont have time to waste I am so busy C:Please , please dont hang up on me, I just need to ask you for help Z: Listen if this is a prank , or solicitation I am not interested C: no its neither, i really am scared and hiding under the bed, and wanted to reach out to someone who had at least a few minutes to hear my side of the story, please sir please Z: Ok girl you have two minutes ( The flight was talking off in 30 minutes , but I wanted to grab some Fruit ) How old are you ? C: thanks for listing, wait wait,,,, I am only 16 years old, but all my life I have been hiding under this bed so often, wait sir, wait,,, BIG SOUND IN THE BACKGROUND Z: Hello are you there, what was that blast sound? C: I am calling from my home, there are bombs being shot here and I just was checking in to see if someone could just stop this so that I can live one day in my life without the fright. Z: What did you want C: You sir you sir,, can you at least have the decency to just write a note, or call you congers man to ask him, me and countless children are hiding under beds on both sides, we dont want this war that has been thrust upon us, by the British when they gave the land away to one side , and not thinking about the children that will suffer for generation, the women that have died, and the elderly that wanly lame. You sit there and drink your Pina Colada and make comments about why or why not, but what do you know about us the people who suffer on both sides, what do you care,, do you.... Lounge Waiter : Wake up sir wake up,, your flight is boarding... We are too busy with our daily lives to worry about the life that is lost in all parts of the world, for the sake of the children in Kashmir, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, the entire middle east, its time for us to wake up, wake up before our flight leaves. Inspired by a Jewish friend who agrees.
