So, as we were walking down the street today we passed this homeless woman. She was asking everyone that passed by for spare change for some food. We kindly said No, we dont have any cash, sorry and walked on by. Thats when I felt The Lord start working in me. We had just walked out of a restaurant and our stomachs were full. I kept playing flashbacks of myself waking by and her holding out her almost empty hand. So, I stopped Bryant and I said, were going to get this lady some food. We walked to the next block to subway. I got her a sandwich and a drink and I took it back to her. Her name was Tonya, and she was hungry. She thanked us and took the food without hesitation. We exchanged smiles, and I kept walking. Sometimes, I feel like Im drowning in life, but The Lord has been gracious enough to bless me more than I ever could deserve. Why not try to bless someone else with what God has given you? Tonight, I realized that it doesnt take much... Sometimes, maybe only a sandwich and a bottle of water.
