So been watching the new dr who. I liked eccelston as he seemed very alien. His mannerisms were awesome. Not happy about banging his companions though. Its like you being interested in a trained chimp he is such a higher organism AND they made an effort to avoid that in the originals Also when it comes to tennant and smith the sonic screwdriver is used too much and does too much. It lights fires it opens doors it it sometimes acts as a weapon(doesnt use guns but kills you with his screwdriver?) Still the stories tend to be better, more streamlined and tight.
