So for the ones I have been annoying with all my pictures,I really dont apologize. I had one of the most amazing weekends in a long time thanks to some pretty amazing people that actually do care. In Fairness to all the friends that turned their backs on me, and the wife that decided it was no longer her concern, they havent had to deal with the aftermath of me...No. ..at least not with me See, most of the selfless people I ran into this weekend are currently standing by husbands, sons, brothers, friends etc. that are dealing with effects of returning from war.....:/ I was brought to tears this past weekend on several occasions for very different emotions. The fact that there are some amazing people out there that do TRULY care, not just say they do when people are looking. See, I wasnt. I wasnt looking. All I wanted was to take my daughter to a Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Unable to do so because of childish antics, I chose to take her to a formal dinner instead. Word spread of this thanks to one of my best friends in the world I never get to see, one of my biggest supporters, more than most know, .....Lisa Rich ..... She has always kept me in mind when it comes to Veterans, Service, etc. Always had my back when it came to supporting me, coaching me, applauding me, and even scolding me...(thats why shes awesome, she will put you in your place too! hahaha) . I was later contacted by another amazing person....Jones Nadine who was listening from a distance to my story. My fight, my challenges, my struggle and my treatment. WHo brought together which seemed like an endless platoon of soldiers with the hearts of Gold..... On the business side of things: I want to personally thank with all my heart Nadine and the American Legion post 364 for allowing her to host her little gathering of supporters on Saturday night. Denyell Pierce for helping with all the gifts, setting up the room, etc. @Jody Tarr Kovich (whom I cant tag for some reason...) for reaching out to Carrabbas, the Holiday Inn, and sharing your story at the Legion. Thank you so much for coming to say Hi at the Game as welll! sorry my lil lady was a little star struck thanks to Hooper! hahahaha The Palace Of Auburn Hills and staff... The Detroit Pistons for putting on the Hoops for Troops Night, Rob, his wife, and lovely daughter abigail for putting up with Tia and I setting up a campground of food in our seats and inviting Hooper over to crash our party! hahaha Angel & Rainbow Inspirations for designing and donating Natalias beautiful Tutu she wore to the game! Krave Salon in Southgate..Kathleen Galletti Lawrence For dolling up my little Divaz Champion for Dinner and not posting on my wall that I cried like a baby when she looked up to tell Daddy she loved him! :))))) Bless you and your family. Your daughter in law is probably even STRONGER than you mentioned and are aware of..... The Holiday Inn in Southgate and all their staff! absolutely amazing hospitality. Toni for the Room and Dave I am forever grateful. Thank you for our room as well as breakfast and Lunch! Carrabbas Italian Grill in Southgate for allowing that set up with an amazing meal! All the ladies that I had the pleasure of meeting as well. More specifically, the one that had me emotionally hurting for, whos Vietnam Husband passed away recently. Her sharing her story provided hope that their may be other women out there that would not turn their backs.... Thank you so much for sharing. So many strangers came together to put together a beautiful weekend for my daughter and I. A real fairytale for her. All the donations will go to great use as my daughter and I as we are forced to start from scratch after the legal war I endured because My X and her attorney think PTSD is a game and Combat is some joke to expose during a divorce to sell off custodial rights.,.. GOD have mercy on both of their Cold Souls. A small fraction of me believes this was all Gods Work for enduring the emotional pain and financial burden this divorce has cost me.... I will gracefully accept. So I would like to thank the Lord for Sending all his Angels....:) Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. As a Veteran, its natural for me to feel this is unwarranted. I wish every single brother and sister that ever put on a uniform and served in harms way had this same opportunity for them.
