So full! It was our choice night here in the LaMountain household. My love of pumpkin.. GAH. So we had Rachael Rays Pumpkin Sage sausage pasta! I omitted a few things, changed the evoo to unrefined coconut oil, and the 1/2&1/2 to coconut milk.. I think next time Ill play with ground turkey and some smoky flavor. It was delicious and the kids LOVED it! This is one recipe I have not made since I started my fitness journey! Since I started T25, then PiYo.. I have completely changed my perspective on eating! Just because I eat clean and healthy does not mean I eat cardboard. I also dont deprive myself. But I DO NOT cheat or treat myself. Cheating is not a part of my vocabulary in this journey. You dont cheat in class, on a paper, or in a marriage.. So why cheat on your health? I have choice days. You make the decision to choose junk, ice-cream, fatty foods.. Etc. You are in control of your life! Tonight.. I chose to make whole grain pasta.. And a higher calorie sauce. :) and it was DEEEEElicious. Dessert is chocolate shakeology nice cream with my girls. 1 frozen peeled banana 1/4scoop chocolate vegan shakeo Splash of almond milk Blend together and eat immediately! :) They always eat that one right up, and get their healthy superfoods in too!!
