So got to try two super rare beers at the Great Nebraska Beer Fest Surly Darkness and Cigar City Hunahpus imperial stout...Darkness lived up to the hype ...so smooth lots of chocolate and roasty flavors ...very enjoyable even in 95 degree heat...Still trying to figure out why people spend money to travel to Tampa to riot for a chance at Hunahpus...its a good beer but Ive had way better imperials from my homebrew friends ...now the Cigar City cucumber saison was a killer beer...best beer of the day was a collaboration between Nebraska brewing and New Holland...Attack of the 50ft Brunette...A nut brown infused with new holland whiskey barrels ...incredible not sure if this one is a one off or will be available in retail locations ...great Fest to check out ...the small Nebraska and Iowa breweries and pubs had some great things too ..
