So here I am at the FISH store and theres teenie tiny lil old lady in a pink easter sun hat and pretty lil pink fuzzy jacket in front of me and I was thinking she looked ready for church....I didnt see a credit card machine and all I had was my debit card son I asked the woman behind the counter ((about my mothers age) if she had a machine and she said no cash only. ((7 minutes to 4 they close at 4)) I look behind me theres still about 5 maybe 6 women to check out so I asked the worker if I could quick run across the street to the ATM ((my oxygen tank empty I had no time to switch tanks -- driver door broken so I wouldve had to climb in passenger side and climb over OR run across the street)) grouchy old lady glares at me and huffs no no you cant Im closing this store n 5 minutes....gal behind me says its going to take you longer than that to ring us all thru. My whole cart was heaping. I dug my purse out and politely said well I guess you can keep all this stuff and put it away then. Beautiful lil lady in pink says... Sweetheart that isnt going to be necessary Im paying for all your stuff. SILENCE. woman behind counter froze. Pink lady says Go ahead now ring up my stuff and hers. Mine was $12.75. Woman behind counter wouldnt look or speak at me. I hugged pink lady and said thank you so much you are such a blessing and she hugged me back and grabbed her Walker and said not me..dont thank me thank Jesus...this is all from him.
