So here is the update. Warming was not as successful as we would have hoped. Aria didnt hit the brain activity we were hoping to see. Her kidneys havent picked up like we had hoped and we are trying a new medication to get some urine production. Warming her led to one more seizure. Her liver hasnt picked back up either and she is going to receive more whole blood and plasma transfusions. If we dont see some really good improvement in her kidneys function in the next 24 hours, then we are at a difficult decision point. Aria cant survive without that function and she isnt a candidate for dialysis which would be the next step after attempting this medication. Dialysis would mean a surgery first and she cant have surgery because her blood isnt reproducing itself properly....essentially its not clotting. If they open her up , they wont be able to stop the bleeding and we just cant and wont put her through that. So please keep up the prayers because we are at the point where the doctors have had the big talk with us. Feeling broken today but we arent done fighting.We are going to try skin to skin now and see if that helps her progress. ❤❤❤❤
