So in QLD if you buy a residential property and sign a contract - TopicsExpress

So in QLD if you buy a residential property and sign a contract that has no record of tenancies in it then you would expect to buy it as vacant possession? If you get a call from the agent after going unconditional on the purchase saying sorry you cant move in 30 days on settlement date because a tenant is on a lease for another 7 months does this mean you can take legal action on the seller or agent? (the seller was aware they had a lease but wasnt made even aware they signed a contract that didnt include the tenancies details) - what would you do as the buyer now?
