So, it is with slight annoyance that I must inform you that Ive been uninvited to do my dj set tonite at Glass. Based on my last appearance, the bar staff deemed my musical choices too obscure for their patrons (although I did play Patrice Rushens Forget Me Nots, Sylvesters You Make Feel (Mighty Real) and Lionel Richies All Night Long (All Night)). Another complaint was that the music was too loud although I had Barbaraphiles come up to me and ask me to turn the volume up. I was also told that no one was buying drinks although the dancefloor was filled and my friend Amy alone must have bought a dozen of them (not exaggerating). I was also told that bottles had been stolen though Im sure none of my friends or fans were involved. I was also told that I only played funk (although I did play Sister Sledge, Tom Tom Club and Black Devil Disco Club). As it turns out I later found out that I should have played and stuck to Def Leppard and Guns & Roses. Oh well what can I say... LOL!
