So it started off as a peaceful night last night and we had our fire going watching the full moon rise. We cooked our steaks which by the way are most delicious over an open fire. Then it was about 10:30-11 and we hear some commotion down on the road below us where our cars are parked. Lots of flashlights and voices. We were a little worried they were messing with our cars or something. Ron yelled down.. They responded and we found out quickly it was the fire department and they were not happy. They didnt know where the fire was coming from and had hiked a mile through scrub oak to find us (someone reported the fire). All six men hiked up, inspected our fire, put water on it and made us use the track hoe to cover it with dirt. Haha what a crazy experience... Apparently its a no burn zone that was put into effect yesterday morning. (Didnt get that memo-oops) Welcome to the neighborhood.
