So its been about 3 months. Now Im down to the finishing touches. PEDALS on way GT traps BRAKE ZIP TIES bought to pic them up color Black WHITE CHAIN wont put on till very end cause I will want to ride it now. Have it ready Not OG Decals but its OK. I decided to go withe the Racing Decals cause the cranks say GT Racing and I just like them Did everything from restoring the ACS Mags to painting, decals had to get all parts I just had frame only. Mags were coaster Brake paid 10 for them and bought a 17 dollar JB Adaptor. They were painted white. Stripped the white sanded with 2000 grit all the scratches out of them. Dyed them back to a shiny black. Installed JB adaptor freewheel. $27 is a great price for ACS Z Mags Someone ruined the chrome on the frame bad by sanding it. I stripped the chrome down and used self Etching primer wet sanded abd washed self etch again wetsanded and washed. Then used finishing primer wet sand and wash.I used satin white to do the frame. 3 light coats wetsanded and washed between coats. 1 layer clear. Let it dry decaled the 5 light layered clear coats.
