So just had a horrible experience at Outback Macon. first we sat there for quite a while before anyone even acknowledged our presence.Ordered a 6oz filet w crab topped shrimp. the waitress comes back and says we dont have any 6 oz filets but we have 9 oz. I asked, cant they just cut off 3 oz from a 9 oz, and she said no. but I can pay the extra $4 to get the 9 oz which I didnt want, so I decided to get a ribeye - medium. Food comes and ribeye is pretty much well done. I eat 2 bites and am pretty sure meat is rotten - so I make my poor daughter try it, she said it was rotten and wouldnt even swallow it. So I ate my sweet potato and shrimp and was done. I told the waitress that meat was rotten, she took the steak off the bill but no manager came to table to apologize or say hate it for you or anything. Not to mention I asked for ice and never received it. Now, in my opinion, 1st, they should have given me a 9oz filet if they couldnt trim it and charge me for a 6 oz, Next thing, you give me rotten meat and no manager comes to table? So I sat in your establishment and got poor service, food I didnt even want and then it was rotten. and you bring me the check and say, took the steak off but heres the rest of your bill. I wasnt going to air this because Buddy knows the owner and I thought I would just get him to tell him but then decided a little tough love was in order. Outback in Macon has gotten pretty sad. The level of employees they have is pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel and it shows. I generally like Outback but I think Im done w this one for a while.
