So last week as yall know andrews heart stopped, than yesterday him heart rate went down to 20 and they had to do chest compressions. They followed up with an echo, and we got the results fron the dr. today. The echo not only showed andrews preexisting heart condition, his eft side being larger than the right, but it also showed calcium deteriation in the middle if his heart. He gets calcium everyday but his liver is too sick tk put it in the right places. From my understanding, andrews cant get transplant ever due to his heart which is none reversible. I talked with the intestinal care team who told me this and im waiting to talk to the head of the transplant team to confirm that andrew can never recieve his transplant. We will have a care conference with all the drs. Within the next couple of days. We asked a few months ago for the doctors to be straight up honest with us if there comes a point where theres no hope for andrew, well they said today with this heart problem theres not much hope. They told us to sit down and talk with each other, meaning jim and i, and make a decision and write down any questions we have for when we have the conference in the next few day. My heart is in my stomach. Is this really coming to an end? Do we really have to make this decision to let our son go? My faith is stronger than ever, i will always believe that god has put us through this for a reason. Continue to pray for andrew, god is listening, he may not always go about things as we wish he would but i trust in him, he hasnt brought us through all of this for nothing.#ANDREWSANGELS
