So, my apologies to the LMHS for not keeping the appointment for Twiggy & Bugsie.. Yesterday was a fun day. After dropping every one of, I went to buy them collars. When I came home I started networking them for donations. Sometime in the morning my central air stopped working...no biggie, Rick will call our to go guy, who takes care of it. As I am networking them my laptop gets fried... Niece, somehow the movie Bruce Almighty comes to mind and I am the ant under the looking glass. As I had opened all the windows and the back door screen open, DJango pushed the door open and decided to run for the hills. Ever tried catching a cat that doesnt want to be caught? Now,its time to go pick up the kids I get a message from Cathy asking me if I know that LMHS charges 50 a ...... I look through the posts in my phone and can only see one donation. My heart starts beating like crazy. As I am on the road people start PMing me about the dogs. They have seen the post and now everybody and their mother owns the Chi and a few are certain Bugsie is theirs. I want to do the right thing so I am asking everyone for proof. When I finally get home, DJango is still missing and still no donations. At which time I tell Cathy to cancel I cant send her of with empty hands. She tells me to call. Christiana that shes been trying to reach me. I look in the calls and have a missed call. Probably was on the line talking to one of the people that lost their dog. So I call back and it is Christiana but I got her voicemail. I realize she must be doing what I am doing....or supposed to be doing. So I send Cathy a pm to let her know that I called but wasnt available. So I have hungry kids and a husband to feed and I just want to put this darn phone down. After dinner I PM Christiana and she gives me the green light to go ahead with the dogs vetting and tells me to talk to Cathy. I do and see I have several msgs from her and obviously she thinks I am ignoring her. I tell her Christiana Okd it to which she responds that shes out. So I thank her and move on to my next adventure. DJango came home at midnight and now I need to figure out how to get the dogs to LMHS. The AC is still broken, hate posting from my phone and if you think that was fun, add a full dose of full blown anxiety to the mix and then come and join me and my monkeys for a pleasant tea party.
