So my boss, whom I have proudly worked with for a half-dozen years, has been tasked with becoming the new features editor for The Times. Shes awesome and Ive very happy for her. She earned the name Chief and Im glad shell be nearby. Because of her move, Im being promoted to her current job as The Times night editor, beginning July 28. Ive been with this crew for longer than any other job and Im looking forward to the challenge. Also, caffeine. Im looking forward to more caffeine. Kerry Erickson deserves only good things. I wish her the best. Shes organized a great night crew and Im glad to be a part of it at The Times of Northwest Indiana.
