So, my number is 9...not sure how much of these will be things no one knows because as everyone who knows me knows, my life is very much an open book. But, here goes... 1) When I was 6, I lived in Illinois for about 8 months. We arrived on Halloween and couldnt get our costumes out of the U-Haul because my mom packed it backwards (1st things needed when we got there were put in the truck first, which meant last thing out), so Robyn L. Johnson, Wendy Mewbourn Ferguson and I just dressed up as punk rockers. This was the 80s and we were from the south so it pretty much just looked like our parents dressed us like mini-hookers. LOL 2) Once we returned to Georgia, I was way ahead of my classmates bc as everyone knows, the schools in the north are ahead, so I was tested for the gifted program. I was the youngest child in the class in Upson Co. at the time and back then there werent a bunch of kids in the class-maybe 6 at my whole school. Needless to say, I dont know that I was ever really gifted, it was probably just from getting ahead by being up north for 8 months bc Im not near as smart today. Or, I could just be getting dumber with age :) 3) I have always smiled a lot, at people I know and at people I dont know and because of this people often think Im dumb. I didnt know this until I was grown, but I still wouldnt change it a bit. The joke is on them if you ask me. 4) I have been hurt and run over by more people than anyone would ever imagine, and I forgive very quickly and easily. Because of this, most think Im weak. I dont forget, I am human, but for me holding a grudge is too much work and it only hurts the person holding it. If the other person cared, they never would have hurt you. Although, the older I get, the more this changes about me. 5) I was engaged 3 times before I ever married, all 3 marriages would have made my initials JSR. I fell deeply in love once with a man who broke my heart, but when all was said and done I said it obviously was never meant to be bc his last name didnt start with an R. LOL 6) When I was little, I wanted to be a missionary. And, I begged my mom to let me be baptized constantly. She finally gave in and U have been a child of God by his grace for 38 years, and by my choice for 29 years. Faith in Him is my strength and for all else, I am forgiven. 7) The one thing that stuck with me the most that my mother said while growing up was, Do as I say, not as I do. And, for the most part, I think it worked. I have listed to her advice even when I thought I disagreed, and now I see my daughter doing the same. It is such a wake up call to see your daughter do something and then say that she did it bc of something that she sees you do or say, good or bad. 8) My husband is my biggest cheerleader, and with him by my side, I can accomplish almost anything if I set my mind to it. Because of this, I will love him forever and always :) 9) I have OCD tendencies and I didnt realize this until I got married. Yet, another reason I will love my husband forever and always.
