So proud of our PGHS musicians and their achievements. Firstly, both Jack Black and Bethany McKenzie will be studying at the Academy of Music and Sound in Glasgow in August. Kayleigh McLaughlan lead singer and songwriter with The Alternatives has been accepted to study Music both here and in Manchester and perhaps Westminster University in London...good luck! Amber Sullivan (S5) has been accepted to study music at Brighton College in August. Jayne Newton got a Merit for her Grade 8 Singing Exam. Reiss Armstrong was awarded a grant from the Inverclyde Festival for his perfomances and will use it to enhance his musical studies this summer. Ellys Buchan in attending a summer Jazz School at Guildhall in London for singing. Well miss you next year and look forward to you keeping in touch, not you Reiss, youre coming back I hope!
