So remember when I said I got to do something really cool the other day? No? WELL I GOT TO DO SOMETHING REALLY COOL THE OTHER DAY! And now I get to share it with you! If youve followed my page for a while (or read my books), youve probably picked up on the fact that I love Harry Potter. Like LOOOOOVE it. I started reading the books when I was 11. I grew up with Harry. My best friends ARE my best friends because we first bonded over HP. I used to read and REREAD these books as a kid, and its what made me love reading. Reading led me to writing. And its incredibly fitting that on the week that I published my very first fantasy book of any kind, I was invited to be a guest on MuggleNets Alohomora podcast! Theyre doing an epic re/read of the series and breaking it down for discussion chapter by chapter. Now, for at least four years of my life, maybe longer... Mugglenet was the homepage on my desktop computer. Do just getting the invite had me literally screaming. Then I found out that Id be guesting the week they discussed my FAVORITE chapter in the entire series!!! I about died. That chapter is number 37 in Order of the Phoenix. The scene in Dulbledores office after the battle at the Department of Mysteries, if you need a refresher. That chapter BROKE ME as a child. But even so I read it again and again.
