So some jerk tonight decided to ruin the rest of my day by stealing my bike right in front of the job (even with all the security roaming around telling people they cant sit somewhere), sometime between the hours of 5:30 and 8:00. I would wish the brakes fail him when he inevitably runs a red light, but that wouldnt solve anything. Its all good, because while I was riding a train home, I felt the energy of someone staring at me reading my lines for my reading this coming Sunday, Core Artist Ensembles Summer reading series (yes, shameless plug rightchea )... At her stop, right before she gets off the train, she puts her business card right on top of my sides - I just looked up, she smiled, I looked at the card, shes the Owner of __________ Talent Management, and stopped until I looked back up. I just mouthed the words thank you, she gave me the thumbs up, and kept it moving. Now Im home. Back to my sides. Time for a new bike. And better locks. TGIF!
