So, the government shutdown by Obama and the Democrats (you know, the one they and their liberal media lackeys try to blame on the Republicans and the Tea Party) was partially due to the Republicans wanting to delay the ACA individual mandate (whats fair for big business is fair for the average citizen)... and now it looks like theyre going to do it anyway? I mean, this is good news ultimately, and definitely a small step in the right direction, but still... This is getting old. Time and time again, Republicans (at least the ones with a modicum of testicular fortitude to take a stand for anything) are mocked and scoffed over their policies and their audacity to inject some common sense and fairness into debates regarding legislature that affects millions of American citizens. Yet, when things gets bad enough (as if things werent already), Democrats, after realizing that their policies have failed miserably and they have no other alternatives, turn around and attempt to enact policies that basically mirror what Republicans and conservatives attempted all along, and liberals somehow turn out to be the heroes in the long run. This makes no sense to me. None whatsoever. Are the majority of citizens in this country that easily duped? They must be... after all, a shockingly large number of woefully uninformed and misguided individuals these days actually believe Democrats fought to free slaves, and Republicans started the KKK. Utter BS. If English class was too difficult, why should I expect high marks in History class...
