So, the kitchen sink has 2 sides..a garbage disposal side, and a non garbage disposal side. The non disposal side, has a little mesh screen covering the drain. Those of us with a hint of common sense know that the screen is there to catch anything that might go down the drain, and clog the pipes. Yet, for the third time this week, the sink is clogged and the little mesh screen is sitting next to the sink, where it is being deprived of fulfilling its only purpose. Of course, no one knows how it got there or has the slightest clue as to why the sink is now backed up. I realize that in light of all the terrible things going on in the world that this is extremely insignificant. I also realize how petty this probably sounds but you know what? I dont care. I dont care because I am surrounded by the terminally clueless..not to mention the absence of even a little common sense. How do these people manage to get through the day in one piece? If they cant manage to pull their heads out of their asses, I may have to look into getting a really big garbage disposal.
